LOUIS VUITTON has opened a new exhibition dedicated to the work of artist Tracey Emin at its Bond Street Maison, featuring new pieces available for the public to buy. All proceeds will go towards arts projects at the Forest High School, Kikandwa, Uganda.
The showcase will include a neon piece bearing the same name as Emin’s forthcoming show at the Hayward Gallery, Love Is What You Want, as well as several limited edition pieces and an item created exclusively for Vuitton – 50 hand-rolled, hand-stitched silk scarves. Each scarf will be signed and numbered by the artist.
Other highlights of the display include a new film, shot in Margate, Emin’s hometown, as she talks to art historian Tim Marlow about why the site has been such an important influence upon her work.
The exhibition is open now until late summer.
