This year, we had a great turn out and reception for the Student Art Contest. The event started off with a performance by local talents ‘Critic Feed’ and attendees were served freshly popped pop corn, lemonade, and we also had an ice cream truck, delivering some nice cold treats on a toasty May afternoon.

Following the great musical performance, Joyce Goss announced and awarded each of the 5 students who submitted art to the contest that caught the eye of this year’s judge, Peter Doroshenko. These five talented students edged over the competition, which included over 60 entries from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
