FLYINGHORSE 2011

Posted by: admin

The Goss-Michael Foundation recently had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending FLYINGHORSE 2011, an event benefiting Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.  The event featured an exploration of the Booker T. campus and the pleasure of seeing the students in their creative environment.   The Grammy award winning alum Erykah Badu gave an incredible performance in the Montgomery Arts Theater, and the evening also featured New Orleans Jazz Review at an After Party in One Arts Plaza with performances by Kermit Ruffins, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Charmaine Neville and Walter “Wolfman” Washington. Here are some images of Badu’s performance.
