Each year, The Goss-Michael Foundation produces a new Limited Edition T-shirt to benefit its growing educational programs. Since 2007, over $50,000 has been awarded to deserving high school students wishing to pursue a college education in the arts.

This year, the Goss-Michael Foundation is calling on its friends, fans and supporters with graphic design abilities to tap into their creative side and produce a new Limited Edition T-shirt that will be sold at our grand reopening in our new location.
The competition will run Tuesday, July 20 through Saturday, October 2, 2010. Contestants must submit a one to three color design using the Foundation’s full name, “The Goss-Michael Foundation,” or its abbreviation, “The GMF.” All entries should be submitted via email as a hi-resolution PDF file. The graphic itself should be limited to three colors or less on a black, white or colored background. Only one entry per person will be accepted. (See attached rules for complete information.)
The winning entry will be used as the 2010 Limited Edition T-shirt that will be sold at the Goss-Michael Foundation’s grand reopening, as well as in its bookstore and website, crediting the winner wherever the design appears. In addition, the winning contestant will be featured in the GMF’s monthly newsletter and website, www.gossmichaelfoundation.org.
All entries must be emailed to Lindsey@gossmichaelfoundation.org by 12:00 AM on Saturday, October 2. The Goss-Michael Foundation Staff and Executive Director will narrow down the entries to a handful of finalists, whose designs will be voted on by GMF fans via our website, blog and facebook pages. Taking the votes into consideration, the executive Director will make the final decision.
RULES
Dates: Submissions will be accepted beginning Tuesday, July 20. Last day of submission will be Saturday, October 2, 2010 no later than 12AM.
Eligibility: Open to anyone who would like to enter.
Entry Fee: None
Pieces per Contestant: 1 piece per contestant.
Requirements: Size Minimum- 10” x 10” Maximum 12” X 12”, 300dpi
Contestants must submit a one to three color design using the Foundation’s full name, “The Goss-Michael Foundation,” or its abbreviation, “The GMF.” All entries should be submitted via email as a hi-resolution PDF file. Contestant’s Name, Address, and Phone Number must be included within the text of the submission email. The graphic itself should be limited to one to three colors on a black, white or colored background. All submitted files must be named as follows: First Name, Last Name.
A Photoshop or Illustrator file must be supplied to the GMF by the winning contestant for reproduction. Please note that the Goss-Michael Foundation reserves the right to reproduce the winning artwork commercially or editorially, on the 2010 Limited Edition T-shirt and any future merchandise (if desired). The Foundation also reserves the right to slightly alter the design if deemed necessary. The winner will receive all design credit wherever the graphic appears as well as recognition on our website and monthly newsletter. By entering the contest you acknowledge these rules and agree to abide by them.
Restrictions: No nudes, drug use, violence, or inappropriate subject matter will be accepted.
